Visitors to Versailles

Visitors to this new exhibit will experience what dignitaries, royalty, ambassadors, writers,
artists, scientists, and others experienced when they visited the court of Louis XIV in
Versailles. Paintings, costumes, uniforms, sculptures, engravings and more, illustrate
how guests were received, and offer a glimpse at the gifts they took home. An audio experience will help evoke a greater sense of the time and place. New York State residents pay what they wish for Met admission.
