The Jazz Standard’s Youth Orchestra, comprised of young musicians ages 11-17, perform a free family-friendly concert every Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. (doors open at 1 p.m.) The one-hour weekly concert at the Jazz Standard Club (116 East 27th Street) provides a great introduction to jazz for children and adults alike, with the option to order top-notch barbeque food from Blue Smoke restaurant upstairs.
