Over 60 events celebrating Japanese traditions take place during the Sakura Matsuri festival
at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Visitors will experience non-stop music and dance
performances, tea ceremonies, craft-making and much more, all with the backdrop of the
garden’s expansive blooming cherry trees. If you can’t attend the festival, the BBG website lets you track when the cherry trees are blooming (usually during April) so you can plan a visit.
